Project Management

Project Management is the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. A project is a temporary endeavor having a beginning and end, undertaken to meet particular goals and objectives to bring about beneficial change and added value.

The primary challenge of Project Management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived restraints such as scope, time and budget.
 
A Project Manager is the professional in the field of Project Management and has the responsibility of planning, execution and completion of any project. They are the person accountable for the stated project objectives and management responsibilities including the building requirements and managing the triple constraints of cost, time and scope.

A number of the AREA Team Directors have had extensive Project Management experience and have been involved in some of Perth’s premier residential projects such as the Silk Apartments on the foreshore in South Perth. This multi level complex of seven luxury apartments built in 2008 has uninterrupted views of the Perth Skyline and achieved sales in excess of $35,000,000.00. All the apartments were sold prior to completion achieving record sales prices.

Other projects undertaken by our group were the 2005 Appealathon Home on the Swan River foreshore in Dalkeith and the 2009 Appealathon Home in Jutland Dalkeith. Both these homes were built by Australia’s premier residential builder, Zorzi Builders for the Appealathon Charity and the beneficiaries being the Civilian Maimed and Limbless and Paraplegic Quadriplegic Associations of WA.

In addition we have been involved in a number of land sub-divisions such as the Lake Clifton Estate where total sales exceeded $12,000,000.00. Our involvement started with assistance in the Project management of the sub-division and then the sales of the individual lots making for an easy journey for the developer.
